対応ソフトウェア環境は、特に断りのない限り、他社のソフトウェアはその最初のリリースを想定しており、パッチやサービスパックまたは同等のものを必要としないことを想定しています。同様に、断りのない限り、他社ソフトウェアのパッチやサービスパックはコグノス製品に対して上位互換であると想定しています。
Cognos TM1 64-bit製品を除き、すべての製品は、Tru64 を除き32bit 製品です。コグノス製品は、他社のソフトウェアの 32bit ライブラリーとのみ統合することができます。また Windows と書かれている場合は、Intel チップ上で動作する Windows 環境のみが対応ソフトウェア環境の対象です。
コグノス社は、お客様がご使用になる最新技術をサポートしていきます。そうした新しい技術のサポートに伴い、下記の環境のサポートは Cognos ReportNet 1.1 が最後となります。
下記に、Cognos ReportNet 1.1 MR3 のソフトウェア環境への対応を、「Active」、「Compatible」、「Unsupported」のいずれかとして記載します。「Active」となっている環境は、コグノス社がテストを行った環境です。「Compatible」と記載されている環境は、テストをしているかもしれませんが、その範囲が限られていることがあります。あるいは、そのサポートはコグノスパートナーや他社ベンダーによる上位互換表明に基づいている場合もあります。また、ソフトウェア環境のある特定のリリースが古くなるにつれ、テストの大半はコグノス製品の過去のリリースで行っていることになるため、時間の経過とともに「Active」から「Compatible」に移行していくケースもあります。
