Vancouver Island Business Intelligence User Group (VIBIUG)
Welcome
The Vancouver Island Business Intelligence User Group has been in existences for about eight years. The group has an executive, and members in both the private and public sectors.
The Purpose of the User Group is to share and optimize the combined Cognos knowledge and experience. We encourage discussing around business intelligence tools, techniques and concepts. Our meetings consist of presentations from a Cognos and local experts, round table of questions and tips & techniques presentations.
Our Mission
To promote a synergy between BI/Warehousing technology and the user community by facilitating open discussion around business intelligence and data warehousing tools and techniques.
About the Group
The User Group meets three times a year for lunch, presentations and discussion. The meeting includes an update from Cognos and a presentation from a Cognos customer, and a round table discussion.
