St. Louis Cognos User Group Information / Registration

Mission

To provide a forum for Cognos end users to be able to share experiences while learning to optimize the performance of their respective tools/solutions. Also to insure Cognos end users always have an opportunity to get updated on the most current Cognos tools as well as recent trends in the marketplace.

 

Structure

The St. Louis Cognos User Group is sponsored by Sky Solutions, the leading Cognos solution provider and fully supported by the Cognos Corporation. Members are highly encouraged to participate as hosts, give presentations, as well as to become involved in all aspects of the operation of the group. This is a member driven organization.

The group is managed by a steering committee. All members of the steering committee are volunteers. The steering committee is comprised of local Cognos users, sponsors and the Cognos Partner Development Manager.

The responsibilities of the committee are:

• To make arrangements for all group meetings, including meeting location, speakers, room reservations, equipment, refreshments, door prizes, and handouts.
• To regularly communicate with members via meeting notices and emails. Meeting notices, steering committee members and other information will be posted on the Cognos International User Group web site.
• To maintain and keep confidential the group's membership list

Membership

Membership in the group is open to any users or potential users of Cognos products in the St. Louis area. There are no dues or fees for membership.

 

Meetings

Meetings are held three times a year at a time and place determined by the Steering Committee. All meetings are hosted by a member of the User Group and sponsored by Sky Solutions and Cognos.
